About Us

The practice was established by Craig Robinson in 1898. For many years the practice was based on Aglionby Street, Carlisle, close to the city centre’s cattle markets and the council’s horse yard for which Craig was the vet. Craig’s son Willie joined the practice and eventually his own son, also called Craig, took over.

Craig Robinson Vets relocated to Rosehill in 1985. We currently service over 60 dairy farms as well as numerous beef and sheep units. We also treat horses and we are proud to be the official vets for the Carlisle racecourse. Similarly, our small animal side of the clinic has grown year on year, with staff numbers rising to meet the demand.

Our vets either specialise in small animals such as pets or work more broadly with pets, horses and farm animals.
