Worming

Puppies are usually born with worms and should be wormed every month from two weeks of age until six months. Your vet is likely to recommend Stronghold, a spot-on preparation applied to the scruff of the neck. It is effective against fleas, worms and ear mites. Tablets and granules are also available.

Dogs over six months of age should be wormed at least every three months for roundworms which are of public health significance as they can migrate through the human body and cause blindness. We stock Milbemax pills.
